Hello lovelies!
I just realized it has been a long time since I did an actual NOTD post! I have been so focused on reviewing polishes that were sent to me that many polishes I have been dying to wear have had to wait!
One of the brands that I have been waiting to actually wear is Enchanted Polish! I have accumulated quite a collection of EPs but hadn't actually worn any until now! Now I really want to wear them all so expect to see more posts with them in the near future!
It was hard to choose which one to wear first but I went with Beautiful Rule Breaking Moth! I fell in love with this polish first because of the name (some of you may recognize the Parks and Rec reference). Now that I have worn it I am head over heels! I love the way BRBM was described by Scrangie:
This is a soft medium grey base with small flecks of gold-green duochrome glitter and a subtle holographic effect. The polish has a speckled look from all the different shimmer particles in it, but it dries completely smooth. The green duochrome glitter gives the grey base a slight green tinge and the added holo makes it look alive.
Ready for photos?!
I'm so happy that it was actually sunny so I could capture the holo! Shown is 2 coats of Beautiful Rule Breaking Moth topped with HK Girl topcoat. In my excitement to wear this I forgot to put on base coat!! That has never happened! The application was perfect! My only problem was the spreading of the gold shimmer during the little clean up I had to do. I always have a problem with shimmer like that getting all over when I clean up!
I am super happy with my first Enchanted Polish experience and can't wait to wear another one! I might not be back with a post for a couple days though because this baby is staying on my nails! :)

Check Out My Undies: A England Princess Sabra (Tristam Eyes)
Hello lovelies!
I hope you are enjoying your Tuesday so far! Mine has been pretty low key. My biggest plans today were to catch up the last couple episodes of Breaking Bad and to figure out what color I am painting my nails next! Hard work I tell ya! ;)
Today I wanted to show off the undies I used in yesterday's review featuring Shimmer Polish Jasmine. I used A England Princess Sabra (Tristam Eyes) which is described as:
Gorgeous deep golden taupe holographic nail polish
That is the description from Llarowe but I love the description from the actual A England website:

That is the description from Llarowe but I love the description from the actual A England website:
Alluringly feline golden olive bronzite, the sacrificial Princess constantly shifts with her elusive, myriad hues.
My only disappointment was that there was no sun when I took photos! Sadly now that fall is here I don't anticipate many sunny days. I expect rainy and gray for the next 6 months. I will be watching the weather report for sunny days so I can show off my holos! In the meantime using flash seems to be the only thing I can do to really show the full effect. Sigh.
Even when you can't fully see the holo Princess Sabra is a beautiful color! For those wondering, Tristam is the name of Adina's cat! This color is absolutely reminiscent of cat eyes! Shown here is 2 coats of Julep Nail Therapy. I did not use top coat and was really impressed with how quick dry time was! Application was a breeze as well!
I purchased Princess Sabra from Llarowe for $10.

Do you own any A England nail polishes? What is your favorite if you do? What is your biggest lemming?

Shimmer Polish Review Part 3: Jasmine
Hello lovelies!
Today I have my last Shimmer Polish to show you! I saved this one for last as it was the color I was most excited to receive! Jasmine is described as:
Aquamarine Mix / Aquamarine, light blue and green Glitter Polish!
My birthstone is aquamarine so this was a given for me! It also make me think of the Disney princess and because of that I knew I wanted to pair it with gold undies. Searching through my stash I realized I have a shortage of golds! My favorite is a-england Princess Sabra (Tristam Eyes) which is perfect for sticking with the princess theme and is a special gold thanks to the scattered holo! I went with a glitter gradient again, I love the effect and how simple it is to do! On to photos!
Shown is 1-3 coats of Shimmer Polish Jasmine over 2 coats of a-england Princess Sabra. I used Julep Nail Therapy base coat and 1 coat of HK Girl topcoat. I absolutely love this with gold! It really helps the glitters pop! Jasmine would look beautiful on her own too, it would only take 2 or 3 coats for full opacity. But this really does it for me!
If you would like to buy Jasmine or any other Shimmer Polishes (or request a custom!) they are $12 each and can be purchased here:
You can also see more swatches and keep up with Shimmer Polish here:
Thanks again to Shimmer Polish for sending me these to review!

I hope you all had a great Sunday! I watched some football and started to watch Once Upon A Time on Netflix, one episode and I am pretty hooked! I just started Sons of Anarchy a week or two ago and am all caught up on that already so I needed a new show since I have to wait a week between new SoA episodes now!Today I have my last Shimmer Polish to show you! End of Summer Haul
Hello lovelies!
I can't believe it is already the last day of summer! It went so fast! I am going to miss my dresses and tank tops but I am so excited for jeans and hoodies weather!
To wrap up summer I figured it was time to share a haul post! Believe it or not it actually took me at least two months to accumulate this haul! I have been trying to cut back on purchasing new polishes so that I can get through my never ending untrieds. I expect this low buy to continue so haul posts will be few and far between for now! Anyways, ready to see what I have added to my stash recently?

Sneak peek!
So much epic right here: Enchanted Polish July 2013, A Little Fishy Told Me, Beautiful Rule Breaking Moth and Seven Nation Army! July 2013 was purchased directly from Enchanted Polish but the other 3 I was lucky to get thanks to some awesome swaps!
These all came from Ed Wyse: OPI Peace Love & OPI, Alcatraz Rocks, Get Your Number and Solitaire!
My Different Dimension collection is getting out of control! ;) Here is Coral Rose (I had to order a new one since I used my first in a swap!), Ocean's Daughter and Black Dahlia! All purchased directly from Different Dimension.
My first Takkos! I have been wanting to try this brand for so long! Here is Strangely Delicious RVMP which I swapped for and Nirvana which I scored directly from Takko!
More Emily de Molly's! Here is Monet's Garden which I got from Llarowe and Harmony from a blog sale!
A couple more Cult's to add to my collection! Here is Mayhem and Riot! Love the names! These came directly from Cult Nails.
A few random purchases from Llarowe. Here is Colors by Llarowe Tank Top and Flip Flops, Picture Polish Electric Dream and my first FNUG: Futuristica!
And a few more randoms from Llarowe! (Um I may have had a ton of rewards points when the new site launched!) Here is Gloss N Sparkle Land of Sunshine, Girly Bits Arctic Sunrise (how did I overlook this one for so long?!) and CrowsToes One Trick Pony!
A couple more! Bondi Teal Magnolia and LEX Cayman Cabana (another new brand for me!) came from a blog sale and Zoya Yara was purchased from Ed Wyse.
Final group shot!
I am very happy with this haul! I love every single polish and was able to cross some major lemmings off my list!
Have you gotten any new polishes that you are really excited about?

Check Out My Undies: Sinful Colors Island Coral
Hello lovelies!
I have missed you all this week! My internet wasn't working on my laptop all week but my girlfriend was finally able to fix it. It drives me crazy when it doesn't work, I felt so lost without it! Not to mention kind of bored! Anyways I am happy to be back and blogging again!
Today I wanted to show you the undies I used with Shimmer Polish Jennifer from my last review post. Sinful Colors Island Coral is a bright pink coral creme. Simple yet beautiful! Check it out!
Shown is 2 coats of Sinful Colors Island Coral over Julep Nail Therapy base coat. That's right, no top coat on this baby! I was impressed with how shiny it was even without it. Application was amazing too! I know that Sinful Colors can be hit or miss but this was definitely a hit! I love corals and this is definitely a keeper in my collection, I can't wait to wear it again!

ps-I am looking into purchasing a camera as my cell phone pics just aren't cutting it anymore! I want something inexpensive and easy to use but capable of taking good up close and macro shots! Do you have any recommendations?

Shimmer Polish Review Part 2: Jennifer
Hello lovelies!
Anyways I wanted to share another Shimmer Polish with you! (If you missed the first two you can check out the post here.) Today's post is featuring Jennifer which is described as:
Light Blue Pastels / Soft Blue, Periwinkle Glitter Polish
I wanted to use a base color that would help showcase the glitters so I used Sinful Colors Island Coral for the undies and I tried out a glitter gradient again. See how it turned out!
Shown is 1-2 coats of Shimmer Polish Jennifer over 2 coats of Sinful Colors Island Coral. I used Julep Nail Therapy for my base coat and topped it all off with HK Girl top coat. Jennifer is beautiful and I love how well she paired with the coral base! I wish I would have started my gradient closer to my tips but I really love how it looks in person! It's like my fingertips were dipped in pot of shimmery goodness!
If you would like to buy Jennifer or any other Shimmer Polishes they are $12 each and can be purchased here:
And to see swatches and keep up with Shimmer Polish happenings go here:
Also don't forget you can request a custom polish for that special woman in your life! (Or for yourself!) ;)
I have 1 more Shimmer Polish that I will show you next week! See you soon!

How is your weekend so far? I meant to post earlier today but I ended up going on a tour of an old asylum near where I live. It used to be Northern State Hospital but is the campus is now used for job corps stuff. NSH was featured on an episode of Ghost Hunters due reported paranormal activity. It was a cool little tour but was more focused on the architecture. I wish it was still open to the public to tour the buildings, I would love a late night scare!Anyways I wanted to share another Shimmer Polish with you! Review: Pahlish Drink the Sea
Hello lovelies!
In the meantime I am excited to show you the other polish that I was sent by Pahlish to review! (If you missed my first post check it out here.) This is one that I knew I had to have as soon as I saw swatches so I was so excited to find it in my review package! Pahlish Drink the Sea is described as:
Squishy turquoise base with chartreuse microglitter, small seafoam metallic glitter, metallic gold dots, and medium neon green matte hex!
There is so much in this polish that I love! I am drawn to all things sea related (must be a Pisces thing) and this is no exception! Check it out!
Shown is 2 coats of Drink the Sea between Julep Nail Therapy and HK Girl topcoat. This could be a 1 coater if you use a thick enough coat but I started with a thin coat which was a little patchy and smoothed it all out with a 2nd coat. I didn't have to place glitters at all or dig for them either!
I absolutely adore Drink the Sea! I love this shade of blue and the little dot glitters! I definitely prefer these over the huge ones that we are seeing in a lot of polishes lately. This is a polish that I will wear over and over again and I am so happy to have it in my collection!
You can purchase Drink the Sea and other Pahlish colors for just $9 each here:
And keep up with Pahlish here:
Thanks to Shannon for sending me these beauties to review!
What do you think of Drink the Sea? Have you tried Pahlish yet? What are your favorites?

Review: Pahlish Greenery and Humid Air
Hello lovelies!
Today I have another review to share with you, this time from Pahlish! Pahlish has long been one of my favorite indie brands. My indie collection is quite large but on average I only have a few of each brand. Pahlish is a rare exception, I actually own more Pahlish than anything else! So having Shannon choose me to review a couple of her polishes was a huge honor!
As you have probably noticed I have been doing more reviews lately. I love having the chance to feature some of my favorite brands as well as try new ones! I have taken a couple different approaches while I find what works best for me. Sometimes I may feature several of a brand in one post and sometimes it may be just 1 at a time. I kind of prefer the one at a time because I like having a chance to wear polish as a full mani, at least for a day if not longer, to be able to give it a full review. It kills me to swatch polish and take photos only to immediately remove it and replace it with another just so I can get the post done more quickly. I don't think I can give the polish a fair review when I do that. With that said expect to see more single polish reviews coming from me. This doesn't mean I won't have multiple polishes in one post in the future, but for now I think this is going to work best. Let me know what you think!
Anyways, how about we check out some Pahlish?! The color I have to show you today is Greenery and Humid Air which is described as:
Deep teal jelly polish with an assortment of purple, aqua, and pink shimmers accented by sparse holographic shimmer and green microglitters.
On to photos!
Shown is 2 coats of Greenery and Humid Air between Julep Nail Therapy base coat and HK Girl topcoat. Application was great! There was no pooling and I barely had to do any clean up. Usually when I clean up with fine glitter it leaves a mess but I had no issues here! This is a perfect Fall/Winter color! The shimmer is even more amazing in person! So much dimension, love!
Pahlish Greenery and Humid Air as well as other Pahlish colors go for $9 each. If you want to get some for yourself go here:
You can also keep up to date with all things Pahlish here:
I have one more color from Pahlish that I can't wait to show you! I will have that posted tomorrow and I still have more colors from Shimmer Polish that I will be showing you this week too! Stay tuned! :)
